If u get electricuted when ur hair dryer touches water then y dont u.....?

get electricuted when its close to ur wet hair?!?

If u get electricuted when ur hair dryer touches water then y dont u.....?

All the electrical parts are inside the dryer and can only shock you if submerged in water. Don't go trying this, could be dangerous to your health.

If u get electricuted when ur hair dryer touches water then y dont u.....?

because it is not submerged in the water therefore it does not have a path to travel

If u get electricuted when ur hair dryer touches water then y dont u.....?

The machine itself needs to come in contact with water and the water needs to get inside the machine where all of the electrical things are.

What do you do if your hair dryer stops blowing hot air?

My hairdryer still works, but it only blows cool/regular temperature air. I need hot air to straighten my hair, but it doesn't seem to be working. Is there anything that I may be able to do to fix it before going out and buying a new one?

What do you do if your hair dryer stops blowing hot air?

Nothing that wouldn't cost you more than the cost of a new dryer.

The heating coils are out, there's nothing you can do yourself.

Just go buy a new dryer.

What do you do if your hair dryer stops blowing hot air?

I would just go buy a new one, the heater coil went in it and you would have to replace the coil, better and better priced to just get a new one.

What do you do if your hair dryer stops blowing hot air?

i don't think so i would just buy a new 1

What do you do if your hair dryer stops blowing hot air?

afraid you need to buy a new one. hairdryers contain a filament which heats the air as it blows. the filament as gone I'm sorry to say.

What do you do if your hair dryer stops blowing hot air?

Buy a new one, there is nothing you can do to fix it

sorry :-(

Hope I helped

What do you do if your hair dryer stops blowing hot air?

get a new one lol

What do you do if your hair dryer stops blowing hot air?

Well not really. If it is dead, then it is dead! But if you use your hairdryer to straighten your hair, try getting a straightener! If you can afford it, get a CHI ($120). They last for like 3 years and they come with a 1 year guarantee. I've had mine for 2 years and it still works great! Also get Pantene Pro-V protection spray (or other heat protection sprays). If you cant afford the CHI straightener, get a cheaper one. Go to Target, Walmart, etc. They have ones from $15-$60! (try not to get the $15 one! If you dont want to get a straightener, then get another hairdryer. And no, you cannot fix your hairdryer...

I want to let my hair dry naturally with no hair dryer or straighteners but it goes really fizzy?

I have very thick and slightly wavy hair and I just want to wash it and leave it on holiday (going where theres no electricity!). I don't mind spending a fair bit on products if it works. Can anyone advise?

Thanks in advance

I want to let my hair dry naturally with no hair dryer or straighteners but it goes really fizzy?

I put anti-frizz serum on my hair when it is damp to help control frizz and air dry it. It seems to work pretty well. I don't use any other product normally.

I want to let my hair dry naturally with no hair dryer or straighteners but it goes really fizzy?

eh???yes;...

I want to let my hair dry naturally with no hair dryer or straighteners but it goes really fizzy?

I have the same problem. I have to blow dry and straighten my hair everyday. I really need a good solution too. Sorry i couldnt help.

I want to let my hair dry naturally with no hair dryer or straighteners but it goes really fizzy?

Use a mousse. It keeps down the frizz.

I want to let my hair dry naturally with no hair dryer or straighteners but it goes really fizzy?

honestly, if you have no electricity, sit outside for a while and comb your hair as it drys, it really smooths it out, even without products

I want to let my hair dry naturally with no hair dryer or straighteners but it goes really fizzy?

bring some baby oil and use it when you need it and how much you think you need- its cheap and always available at any store or frizzease i love if you can get that

I want to let my hair dry naturally with no hair dryer or straighteners but it goes really fizzy?

Try using Icon Mesh, its a gel/cream that grabs onto medium to thick hair types..its a structuralizing cream! You will love it and it smells like sweet tarts! If you dont mind paying to look good!

I want to let my hair dry naturally with no hair dryer or straighteners but it goes really fizzy?

You can try a clear gloss or serum. Biosilk makes a product called silk therapy which works really well and it has a nice scent. Since you have very thick hair, you can get away with a heavier product than someone who has fine hair. A pomade or styling wax may work also. Try serum as it gives your hair a nice sheen.

I want to let my hair dry naturally with no hair dryer or straighteners but it goes really fizzy?

i have that same problem...

I want to let my hair dry naturally with no hair dryer or straighteners but it goes really fizzy?

Yes, I'm a guy but..

Ive been in that situation real wavy and curly hair that wont settle down.

After I would shower or wash my hair I would use LA looks' Gel to mousse while the hair was still wet, while letting it dry naturally, it would hold and have that natural look.

Hope it helps.

I want to let my hair dry naturally with no hair dryer or straighteners but it goes really fizzy?

Frizz ease thats what i use it's made by....frizz ease...they have a bunch of products cuz i have thick curly hair granted i straighten it like everyday but i have to wait for it to dry first and i don't want it to frow so i use that and it works good!

I want to let my hair dry naturally with no hair dryer or straighteners but it goes really fizzy?

there is a product you can get have used it but cant for the life of me think of the name - think it was elvie ???

or you can leave conditioner in then wash it out the next day...

I want to let my hair dry naturally with no hair dryer or straighteners but it goes really fizzy?

As suggested Frizz easr by John Frieda works well.

I want to let my hair dry naturally with no hair dryer or straighteners but it goes really fizzy?

rinse your hair with BEER for half an hour and then rinse with water and sure it works ..your hair turns silky

I want to let my hair dry naturally with no hair dryer or straighteners but it goes really fizzy?

sorry i don't know

I want to let my hair dry naturally with no hair dryer or straighteners but it goes really fizzy?

there are loads of products on the market that should help - John Frieda do an anti friz. Generally I have just left a conditioner on my hair for about five minutes before rinsing off, then leaving it to dry eau naturalle.

Saying that, my hair is rather fine, but I have a lot of it.

I also find that wearing a hat/scarf helps keep it more managable if I leave it to dry without a hairdryer, especially in hot climates.

I want to let my hair dry naturally with no hair dryer or straighteners but it goes really fizzy?

i have the same trouble and my hair is straight! like a few others i find frizzease is good if you can get it.

good luck and have a good holiday

I want to let my hair dry naturally with no hair dryer or straighteners but it goes really fizzy?

sounds like you have hair kinda like mine...

and actually, the stuff i use isnt all that expensive

i just use Garnier Fruictise soothing milk, rub it into your hair when its damp and just let it air dry.

gives it a sleek, natural look- for about $4-5 at drugstores.

good luck :)

I want to let my hair dry naturally with no hair dryer or straighteners but it goes really fizzy?

hi there i can think of 2 options for you

option 1 go for the straight look try some frizz ease and loads of conditioner (because of the thickness) also ask your hairdresser to thin it out, they cut into your hair making it a little thiner (dont worry it doesnt effect the lengh at all !), oh and also you could invest in one of those things the mobile striaghtners that you dont need electric for (argos would be your best bet)

okay now option 2

if your hairs naturally curly anyway, go for that look and buy loads of curly products like moose, and things and try some old fashioned rags in your hair at night and in the morning it will go nice and curly not frizzy (that way no need for blendy rollers ect.

also try and experiment on having your hair in different ways like twisting your hair and pinning it up if its really hot.

whatever you decide hope you have a nice holiday x

I want to let my hair dry naturally with no hair dryer or straighteners but it goes really fizzy?

I have the same prob 2 but all i do is put hair oil %26amp; blowdry my hair

I want to let my hair dry naturally with no hair dryer or straighteners but it goes really fizzy?

Try using some spray on leave in conditioner. I use a good one which I get from Boots. It's called Lee Staffords 2nd day hair.

I want to let my hair dry naturally with no hair dryer or straighteners but it goes really fizzy?

I suggest using the Frizz Ease products. I use these on my wavy hair and I love them. Try the shine serum and then use dream curls. It'll bring out the wave a bit and leave it naturally light as it air dries and it won't frizz.

I want to let my hair dry naturally with no hair dryer or straighteners but it goes really fizzy?

I have the exact same problem but my hairdresser recently told me to put conditioner in after i towel dry it. Works a treat. Trust me. If you have a curl in your hair its gorgeous.

I want to let my hair dry naturally with no hair dryer or straighteners but it goes really fizzy?

deep condition it, then put some leave-in conditioner use sum moose if u want, the trick here is not to touch it at all

I want to let my hair dry naturally with no hair dryer or straighteners but it goes really fizzy?

I HAVE THE SAME TYPE OF HAIR. I USE LEAVE IN HAIR AND SCALP TREAMENT...AND A TOUCH OF GEL...YOUR HAIR WILL LOOK SHINY AND NOT FRIZZY..BELIEVE ME IT WORKS.

I want to let my hair dry naturally with no hair dryer or straighteners but it goes really fizzy?

Look like we share the same problems. Conditional your hair after wash will help.

I want to let my hair dry naturally with no hair dryer or straighteners but it goes really fizzy?

what you do is this after washing, while wet part in the center and then you comb the right side to the back of you neck and then you comb all thats left at the neck around to the right to meet and then you use a hair net to hold it make sure its a ver thin hair net .good luck.

I want to let my hair dry naturally with no hair dryer or straighteners but it goes really fizzy?

serum, a good one! one that u leave in and can put on dry hair, that way u can reapply if u need to later on in the day

How long would your hair have to be to not fit your head under a Hair Dryer?

My friend told me when she use to work at Fantastic sams a Girl had so many Rollers in her hair to get a Perm that her head would underneath those Bullet shaped Hairdryers. How long do you think her hair was?

How long would your hair have to be to not fit your head under a Hair Dryer?

To her waist, maybe?

How long would your hair have to be to not fit your head under a Hair Dryer?

sorry, i don't get it.

How long would your hair have to be to not fit your head under a Hair Dryer?

...to her feet.

How long would your hair have to be to not fit your head under a Hair Dryer?

MUST OF BEEN FLOOR LENGTH.

How long would your hair have to be to not fit your head under a Hair Dryer?

It was probably perm rods called intensive rings, they are used for a spiral effect and your hair only has to be about five inches or longer.

How long would your hair have to be to not fit your head under a Hair Dryer?

3 feet

How long would your hair have to be to not fit your head under a Hair Dryer?

The length of the hair doesn't really matter (unless it's near floor-length, which I suppose could cause a bulk problem, depending on thickness). It's the thickness. Only so much hair will wrap around one roller. Although, my hair is past my hips and about medium thickness, and I never had a problem with the curlers fitting under a hair dryer when I used to have it permed (or attempted to- it's so stubbornly straight that even perming solution refused to curl it).

Nail Dryer .v. Hair Dryer?

I'm thinking of getting a professional nail dryer to use at home..like the ones they have in salons.

Currently, I'm using my hairdryer to dry my nails..lol!..and it works!

Do you think I should invest in a professional nail dryer instead?

Nail Dryer .v. Hair Dryer?

buy a naiL dryer....

hair dryer has a different thing goin on inside...it can harm your nails...

your nail may become yellow in color... or it can be brittle too by using hair dryer... the heat coming out from the hair dryer is more harmful compare to that of nail dryer...

Nail Dryer .v. Hair Dryer?

I use my hair dryer to dry my polish, but I use the low heat setting, alternating between cool and medium heat. I don't think spending the money for a professional nail dryer is necessary. This works for me. Report It

Nail Dryer .v. Hair Dryer?

yes

Nail Dryer .v. Hair Dryer?

Hi

Nail Dryer is works good but hair dryer is a option

for that so as my opinion don't invest in nail dryer

I hop this help u

Good Luck!!!!

Should I even bother bringing my hair dryer and curl iorn to the Dominican Republic if I am staying.

in a 3 star resort. Are the outlets the same down there? I have curl and I usually difuse my hair so I would need my universal difuser to fit on their blowdryers if mine wont work.

Should I even bother bringing my hair dryer and curl iorn to the Dominican Republic if I am staying...?

Cheap resort you booked so bring your own dryer and towel

Should I even bother bringing my hair dryer and curl iorn to the Dominican Republic if I am staying...?

Just relax and let your curls run free!! If you are on vacation, don't bother with the curl iron or hair dryer. Ask the hotel if they have a hairdryer in the bathroom, they usually do. Then relax and just have fun in the caribbean and forget about your hair!

Should I even bother bringing my hair dryer and curl iorn to the Dominican Republic if I am staying...?

the other answers are correct, forget about your hair it will frizz no matter what you do.,You can wear it up at night. Have fun DR is a great vacation place. The electric is the same as the US. Use common sense while there. Use the buddy sytstem let your friends know where you are, be cautious around the guys. Just be careful if you go out of the resort area, it's best not to go alone. Have fun, but seriously don't do anything stupid

Should I even bother bringing my hair dryer and curl iorn to the Dominican Republic if I am staying...?

First are you coming from the States is the same power , but if you come from Europe youll need an adapter. And in Dominican Republic resort the have hair dryer and more things for the use of the customer.

Should I even bother bringing my hair dryer and curl iorn to the Dominican Republic if I am staying...?

The outlets are the same. When you're swimming at the beach and pool, it might annoying having to fix your hair every time, but if you want, you should first check the hotel's website to see if they have a blowdryer. They most likely do. They probably won't have a curling iron, though, so you could bring that.

Should I even bother bringing my hair dryer and curl iorn to the Dominican Republic if I am staying...?

The resort will have those adapters you can use for your hair dryer and curling iron.

But honestly, when I go, I find that I end up wearing my hair just au naturel. because it's SO hot!

If I curled my hair with curlers, could I dry then with a hair dryer to make them set?

I know its better to sleep with them in but is it possible to dry them with dryer, or not.

If I curled my hair with curlers, could I dry then with a hair dryer to make them set?

i work in retail and in hairdressing.

usually to set your hair you neeD to :

*wash towel dry the hair..

*apply a setting lotion e.g Matther James Quickset. (or else the curls will drop out within a few hours)

*either sleep on the rollers, apply heat under a wall dryer or gentle hot hairdryer. (any will work just the same.

*when completely dry (and i mean totally dry unless it will set floppy with no curl) unwind them gently, applying a shine or smoothing serum, e.g PPS's Shine it.

*OPTIONAL: apply hairspray for the fly aways, and to hold the curl for longer :)

HOPE I HELPED :)

If I curled my hair with curlers, could I dry then with a hair dryer to make them set?

i think if you used a hair dryer it would make is go frizzy try using mouse before you curl.

If I curled my hair with curlers, could I dry then with a hair dryer to make them set?

yes definitely..... use a roller and use dryer and show it in the roller wid ur hair for few seconds and ur curls wil set...... or u can use even roller comb to curl ur hair n tehn set it wid dryer

If I curled my hair with curlers, could I dry then with a hair dryer to make them set?

Yes, I do that, but I find that the curls don't hold as well.

What do you think of this hair Dryer?

http://www.sallybeauty.com/ion+ionic-cer...

What are your opinions on it?

What do you think of this hair Dryer?

It is a good dryer but you could prob get the same effect from a dryer tht you buy from say walmart or meijer. You are automatically pay more for a dryer at a beauty supply store. and all dryers have one job which is to dry your hair. No matter what they say no dryer can make your hair shinny or straight that is creams and a straightner so to just dry your hair i would buy something from another store besides there. You can purchase attachments such as a difuser or the attachment that is on that one that will allow for the same effect with half the price.

What do you think of this hair Dryer?

It is a good dryer, but so are most. They charge you more because of their wording, as all dryers will take frizz out if you know what you're doing and use the correct brush.

What do you think of this hair Dryer?

the diffuser is good but other than that its pretty much the same as most. you should look in to what settings it has. some dryers only have buttons that say like medium and high.

What do you think of this hair Dryer?

MY ZIP CODE SAYS IT COST $59.99

What'd your zip price it at??

I buy a $20 hair dryer every 3 years.

So would this one last for 6 years??

I honestly doubt it.

What is a very good hair dryer? I don't care about the price. I want a very good one that does

Oh yeah, and I have long thin wavy/curly hair and i sometimes curl it but most of the time i straighten it.

I really like the wiggo dyers there a little but they don't frizz the hair out to much when you dry weither of go straight or curly. Good Luck!

What is a very good hair dryer? I don't care about the price. I want a very good one that does less damage.

the best hair dryer and sraightner is probly CHI it works graet but they are a little prica

Once when i was a little stupid 10 year old, i 'got more oxygen' by pointing the hair drye

the next day, i had tonsilitis. Is there a connection with my hair dryer stunt and tonsilitis?

Once when i was a little stupid 10 year old, i 'got more oxygen' by pointing the hair dryer in my mouth.

I don't know about the tonsillitis -- but hair dryer air always tastes good, am i right.

Once when i was a little stupid 10 year old, i 'got more oxygen' by pointing the hair dryer in my mouth.

No because that was just plain hot air not oxygen that you blew into your mouth.

Once when i was a little stupid 10 year old, i 'got more oxygen' by pointing the hair dryer in my mouth.

i doubt it

Once when i was a little stupid 10 year old, i 'got more oxygen' by pointing the hair dryer in my mouth.

Wow, weird.

Once when i was a little stupid 10 year old, i 'got more oxygen' by pointing the hair dryer in my mouth.

Nope just your tonsils acting up.

Once when i was a little stupid 10 year old, i 'got more oxygen' by pointing the hair dryer in my mouth.

No, your hair dryer would have had to have been full of bacteria. Even then, it would've taken more than a day to develop an infection.

Once when i was a little stupid 10 year old, i 'got more oxygen' by pointing the hair dryer in my mouth.

Blowing air into your mouth dries out the mucous membrane of your throat. An intact mucous membrane, that contains many immune cells that live in that WET, mucous environment is the primary defense against bacteria and viruses. Drying out your throat can increase your chances for an infection by reducing that defense.

On the other hand, the incubation time (the time between contracting the infectious organism and getting sick) is usually longer than a day, so chances are, you already had the virus/bacteria in your body and that this all was just coincidence.

Once when i was a little stupid 10 year old, i 'got more oxygen' by pointing the hair dryer in my mouth.

you could have irritated your throat with this stunt by drying it out where mucus membranes are suppose to be

A while back I read in a pet care magazine that you should never blow dry your cats with a hair drye

after you give them a bath. I used to use a hair dryer on my 2 yr. old female but I immediatly stopped after I read this. now, I just hand dry her with a towel. why can't you use a hair dryer on your cat after a bath? any answers will be appreciated! Thanx!

A while back I read in a pet care magazine that you should never blow dry your cats with a hair dryer?

I've never heard of that. What magazine was it? I'd like to read what else they have to say. Don't groomers and people who show their cats use blow dryers? I know you can't use kennel dryers with them. It gets too hot for them and they can't breath.

keep me informed, would you?

Good Luck

lol Jaime-Lyn, when my hubby was doing some stuff for me, hanging pictures and that, our oldest cat attacked his drill! Hit it a few times then laid down and went to sleep. I guess she just had to establish her dominance or check it out or something.

A while back I read in a pet care magazine that you should never blow dry your cats with a hair dryer?

It will probably traumatize her! I wouldn't use one on my dog--she'd try to bite it.

A while back I read in a pet care magazine that you should never blow dry your cats with a hair dryer?

you can. the cat will probably hate it though. my dog barks at our hair dryer but it's just a faster way of drying her. cat's are the same

A while back I read in a pet care magazine that you should never blow dry your cats with a hair dryer?

I never used a dryer... Its kind of traumatic for them...

My old gal would tolerate the bath but she put her paw down when it came to the noisy dryer..

A while back I read in a pet care magazine that you should never blow dry your cats with a hair dryer?

i'm not sure if you're supposed to or not, but i know my kitty would freak out from the noise!! i just towel dry her and then let her dry herself the rest of the way.

A while back I read in a pet care magazine that you should never blow dry your cats with a hair dryer?

not the heat but noise and the blast of wind... also it dries a cat's skin... yours too. By the way, only time I ever had to bathe a cat was after an encounter with a skunk... not good for either of us.

A while back I read in a pet care magazine that you should never blow dry your cats with a hair dryer?

On low air, it's not bad. I have a friend who always uses a dryer. The cat gets good and fluffy and actually likes it. Cat loves bath time.

A while back I read in a pet care magazine that you should never blow dry your cats with a hair dryer?

Well, I have a couple of scars in the pinkie finger of my right hand from the ONE time I tried to blow dry a cat after giving it a bath!

This gorgeous, loveable stray cat showed up at our house, and my sister fell in love with it and wanted to take it home. I decided I would clean her up a bit before the trip. She was a Maine Coon, so she had long hair that was dirty, etc.

She did so well in the bath. Very patient and didn't make a fuss or meow. I thought that because she was so calm, she might be able to handle the dryer (on low), and we could speed up her drying time. The instant I turned it on, she let me know she wanted nothing to do with it!

As I said... I have a couple of teeth marks as a permanent reminder of this lesson! Cats are different and can adjust to different things... but I won't try it again!

A while back I read in a pet care magazine that you should never blow dry your cats with a hair dryer?

It is very bad for their skin. My vet told me to never give my cats a bath at all unless they spilled something bad on themselves. Cats wash themselves.

Does the Infiniti by Conair Hair Designer Hair Dryer work?

i want to straighten my hair. has anyone used this?

Does the Infiniti by Conair Hair Designer Hair Dryer work?

I haven't tried Conair but I would recommend Revlon.

Has anyone tried the Infiniti Hair Designer Hair Dryer with Straightening by Conair?

and does it work good on thick curly hair ?

Has anyone tried the Infiniti Hair Designer Hair Dryer with Straightening by Conair?

i have thick, wavy hair and using the conair infiniti hair designer hair dryer (that's a mouthful lol) gets it straight but poofy and i normally still have to take a flat iron to it. It works well, and avoids a lot of frizz problems, but it's not going to get you hair like perfectly straight

Has anyone tried the Infiniti Hair Designer Hair Dryer with Straightening by Conair?

Thick, curly hair is the biggest challenge for any hair equipment. Conair has long been a quality name in hair dressing, and now they sell to the public. It's worth a try as a dryer. As to straightening, I have my doubts. But I have not seen it anywhere to see what their purpose was.

Up till now the best way to temporarily straighten hair has been "The True Ceramic" hair straightener. It's a ceramic flat iron that does a very good job, unlike what most flat irons on the market today.

Why do the lights get dim when I turn on the vacuum or hair dryer?

I live in a 1999 mobile home. When I turn on the vacuum or hair dryer the lights get dimmer. Why does this happen, and is it a hazard?

Why do the lights get dim when I turn on the vacuum or hair dryer?

All of the other answers are true, but you might have a connection problem in one or more of the plugs on that circuit. Try using a kitchen or washing machine plug. These are seperate circuits than your lighting. If the problem still exists you have a connection problem at your panel or meter disconnect. call an electrician

Why do the lights get dim when I turn on the vacuum or hair dryer?

Vacuums and hair dryers pull a lot of watts. They would decrease the amount of power available to other appliances. Its not a problem unless it trips a breaker regularly. It could overheat the breakers. Tripping the breakers is a sign you need a bigger breaker..... Try not to have all of those appliances working at the same time. It could be a fire hazzard, especially if you have aluminum wiring... which many mobile homes have.

Why do the lights get dim when I turn on the vacuum or hair dryer?

you probably have a lot of things that are being supplied through the same circuit breaker. circuit breakers are only designed to handle a certain amount of electrical load. it seems you are on the high end of that design. it can be dangerous if there is faulty wiring. also, if you are overloading a circuit breaker, it draws more heat, thus posing a potential fire hazard. you should look into possibly getting another circuit breaker installed to help with the electric loads or check to see if you can run some loads on another circuit breaker that isn't being used as much.

Why do the lights get dim when I turn on the vacuum or hair dryer?

This is quite common when you turn on a device that uses a lot of current, such as a vacuum cleaner (motor) or heating device such as a space heater or hair dryer. The sudden extra load draws the voltage down a little; it really shows up with incandescant lights.

Why do the lights get dim when I turn on the vacuum or hair dryer?

Mostly good advice given above. I'm an electrician. Do not though, follow the advice of putting a larger breaker on the circuit. The size of the wiring in the circuit will already have the highest available breaker on it that meets the safety standards of the National Electric Code. My advice, like the other contractor. Play it safe. Call an electrician.

Why do the lights get dim when I turn on the vacuum or hair dryer?

Get an electrician to look things over. I've seen circuit breakers turn into piles of ash just because the wires connected to them were loose. Far too often builders and manufactures of homes follow building codes only barely. When building my house I often used larger gauge wire as well as a anti-oxidizer. I have to wonder if an electrician would recommend turning off all the power and retightening all connections? Hey!, that could be a new career!

Why do the lights get dim when I turn on the vacuum or hair dryer?

those appliances both draw a lot of amps on start up. it's probably not an issue. a breaker will flip before too much heat builds in the circuit. if you start flipping breakers, you may want to unplug some stuff, just for convenience.

What is the best way to get the lint out of my hair-dryer?

I have a Vidal Sasson 1875 ironic hand-held hair-dryer. It has the back that comes apart to clean the lint but it is so hard to get it out w/out damaging the filter. I've tried tweezers....any suggestions would be helpful before it blows up. ha!

What is the best way to get the lint out of my hair-dryer?

Try an old toothbrush! That's what I use...flick away!!!

Why is it that heat from weather wont melt off glue from car decals, but a hair dryer will?

why is it that heat from weather wont melt off glue from car decals, but a hair dryer will? i heard from several people that hair dryers will help take decals off a car window or paint, but why wont hot temperatures during the summer or something cause them to peel too?

Why is it that heat from weather wont melt off glue from car decals, but a hair dryer will?

The heat from the sun heats the entire area up at the same time. A hair dryer, or heat gun that is used directs the heat to specifically the decal and the metal underneath, making the glue holding the decal on loosen its grip.

Why is it that heat from weather wont melt off glue from car decals, but a hair dryer will?

Hair dryer has a higher temperature.

Why is it that heat from weather wont melt off glue from car decals, but a hair dryer will?

The hair drier is much hotter, and is specific to the spot. the weather dispurses the heat over the whole vehicle, not a central spot where the hair dryer is.

Why is it that heat from weather wont melt off glue from car decals, but a hair dryer will?

hair drier puts out a higher temperature

Why is it that heat from weather wont melt off glue from car decals, but a hair dryer will?

the sun might get the part up to 200 degrees in the hot summer day on a dark colored car.. being dark colora get hotter lite colors.. where a hair dryer can get above 450 degrees.. ..i have seen some get around 1000 degrees.. so simple they just get hotter.. they make a spray that will not damage the paint like a hair dryer can . it is about $19.00 a can and it takes the right off.. works great . i use it all the time 3m part # 08908 it is made for woodgrain decals and pin strips . but there other companies make it can be found in most autoparts stores that sale auto paint supplies . they carry a cheeper brand most of the time if the 3m brand it to costly. but make sure to read and follow the directions before /when using .

Conair Mini Turbo Dryer 1875, is it any good? What others do you recomment for a hair dryer?

My uncle has it, yes, uncle... :-P

and I've used it a couple times, I liked it, but I'm getting many mixed reviews on the internet.

I don't plan to style it, just blow dry it straight, and go.

My hair is already straight, so basically, just drying it...

Just for what I'm asking, is that okay to buy? Or would it fry my hair?

I shower every night, yes, I knowit's bad for me, but my hair gets oily... really really easily.

So, with that said, what's your take?

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Conair Mini Turbo Dryer 1875, is it any good? What others do you recomment for a hair dryer?

I have a Conair Turbo Dryer 1875 W, but it isn't the mini one. I love mine, and it really only takes a short while to dry my hair. Any sort of heat tools dry hair out, so use a heat protectant/leave-in conditioner on it.

Conair Mini Turbo Dryer 1875, is it any good? What others do you recomment for a hair dryer?

Mine looks like this, except in blue: http://jaycohomeproducts.com/l... Report It

Whats the best hair dryer?

for shiny healthy hair any brand but i prefer conair or revlon something

Whats the best hair dryer?

I have a bright red REVLON IONIC HAIR DRYER and it is the bomb! I always recommend a light spray leave in conditioner to my clients prior to drying it. Revlon for sure, good luck!

Whats the best hair dryer?

anything ionic works better and is easier on the hair.

Whats the best hair dryer?

CHI is the best but expensive. conair is also good and cheap

Whats the best hair dryer?

I have a Revlon and I love it!! I bet you would too! It dries my hair without leaving it looking COMPLETELY dry and trashy.

Whats the best hair dryer?

i love nick clarkes hairdryer ranges they make your hair soft and they are quick not like most of the others where you have to wait ages for your hair to dry only to look like fuzz buzz

Whats the best hair dryer?

I have always bought Babyliss hair dryers but the more expensive of their range and I've loved them all. I've had the one I have now for at least 6 yrs which isn't bad as I use it most days.

Can you make oil paints dry faster by using a hair dryer?

I have an oil painting to bring to school but it's not quite dry yet. Is there any way to speed up the process? Would a hair dryer work?

Can you make oil paints dry faster by using a hair dryer?

The binder in oil paint is linseed oil, which dries through oxidation, NOT by evaporation like water-based paints. This means oxygen must reach into the depth of the paint in order for it to dry. If your paint layers are thick, this could take months.

If you use a hair dryer or other heat source, it will probably damage the painting - most likely by accellerating the drying of the top layer but not the underlying layer - which will make cracks in the paint surface.

To transport a wet oil painting, insert a push-pin into each corner on the painting surface, close to the edge. Place a stiff board such as foamcore or a canvas panel the same size against the pins and wrap the corners together with masking tape. Remove the board %26amp; pins when it arrives. Any damage caused by the pins will be covered by framing.

You can also buy canvas clips at an art supply store, used to transport 2 canvases face-to-face without their surfaces touching.

Can you make oil paints dry faster by using a hair dryer?

You could if you really wanted to... but it's not a good idea because it'll mess up the oils and make the texture different.

Can you make oil paints dry faster by using a hair dryer?

If its on a cold setting yes, heat will make the paint bubble.

Can you make oil paints dry faster by using a hair dryer?

Yes it will work%26gt;Be careful not too put it[hair dryer] too close as it will sear it.

Can you make oil paints dry faster by using a hair dryer?

Oil paints are weird. If you dry them too fast when they were applied thickly, you run the risk of drying just the top layer and sealing the still-wet paint in underneath where it may never dry.

Can you make oil paints dry faster by using a hair dryer?

A better solution would be to prop it up against a chair, as upright as possible, about three feet away from a wall furnace. I've done this many a time to speed up the drying process and it's never hurt the paint. Of course, this doesn't work it you don't have a gas wall heater.

However, a radiator-type electric heater would probably work, too. Even a bathroom wall heater would probably work. Just keep it far enough away from the heater. You do not want the canvas or paint getting hot. You just want it to get warm. Three feet away should do the trick.

Can you make oil paints dry faster by using a hair dryer?

It takes about a month for the paint to dry completely. Take it to school wet.Im studying Fine Art, and i usually just take a wet project to class when it gets scored, it shouldnt make a difference.Your teacher wont touch it!

Can you make oil paints dry faster by using a hair dryer?

You can put it under a light source, like a lamp, to make it dry faster.

Can you make oil paints dry faster by using a hair dryer?

If you paint on canvas, I suggest you use the dryer o the other side of the canvas, so you don't create a pocket of wet paint.

Can you make oil paints dry faster by using a hair dryer?

I've tried hair dryers as well as fans and I found that they blew dust around and didn't dry it well. If your paint is thick it's really not a good idea.

I'm now perfectly happy with using different quick drying mediums.

Can you make oil paints dry faster by using a hair dryer?

A hair dryer will work fine for watercolor and acrylic. I suspect you would wear one out before you would get an oil painting dry. You may want to try Liquin, or some other alkyd-based medium mixed in with your paint. Using medium, you can get them dry to the touch in about 10-12 hours or less depending how thick your impasto is. Alkyd paint has all the same properties as oil-based paint. It is workable for a couple hours after you paint and dries overnight.

Water soluble oil has a slightly faster drying time than traditional oils, but your best bet is alkyd.

How do I clean the vent on the back of the hair dryer?

It's the vent on the back of the hair dryer that does come off. Mine gets all clogged up with lent and so I have to take a pair of tweezers and pick out all of the lent, but no matter how much I try, I can't get all of the lent. Does anyone know an effective way to clean those things so it doesn't take me 20 minutes to dry my hair? I've looked online and I can't find where you can buy replacements for the vent. I've even looked on the Conair website. Any help would be so appreciated!

How do I clean the vent on the back of the hair dryer?

vacuum cleaner? compressed air? old toothbrush?

How do I clean the vent on the back of the hair dryer?

I usually take an old tooth brush that's on it last legs, hold the vent over the trash can and give it a good brushing. It gets out the lint evey time.

How do I clean the vent on the back of the hair dryer?

Hi,

Make sure your hairdryer is dry before you take a good stiff brush to the vent and just as with your clothes dryer, it too collects lint that needs to be cleaned out. The brush, with a swift motion, NOT TOO HARD as you will push the vent back into the motor area, just brush it until all the lint is out. Takes a few minutes!

Hope that works for you! Take care and have a wonderful week! Bless you!

I need a good new hair dryer!?

My hairdryer is starting to make weird sounds and so I figure its about time I retire it.

But now I really need to find a new hairdryer that works as well!

I need it to be more QUIET than most, as I am usually blowdrying my hair late at night when my family is asleep. I have thick hair, that I blowdry straight with a round brush while flipping my hair upside down.

Anyone know what would be best for this?

I need a good new hair dryer!?

ALL HAIR DRYER R LOUD AND U CAN BUY ONE AT DA BEAUTY SUPPLY STORE I JUST

I need a good new hair dryer!?

i like the ION kind. it helps dry your hair faster and with less damage. i got a conair from target. not expensive and not heavy. you can turn off the ion, and it has a cool shot button too. i don't think it is noisy. good luck

I need a good new hair dryer!?

Infinity hair designer by Conair is a great dryer. It has ions that make your hair shiny and dry faster. It's a little more expensive at about $69. I use both the larger and the smaller version. Both work well.

I need a good new hair dryer!?

Sedu has fantastic hairdryers.

Where can I find woodworking plans to make a hair dryer holder?

I used to have one with two holes, one for a hair dryer and one for a curling iron. It was wall mounted.

Can i use an extension cord with a bonnet hair dryer?

If not why can' i? because the instructions says not to use an extention cord with the bonnet haIR DRYER. bU T IWANT to know the reason... Thank you =}

Can i use an extension cord with a bonnet hair dryer?

It has to do with the amount of amperage. An average extension cord holds up to about 13.4 amps. The problem is, your hair dryer probably draws in about 3.4 amps. While this looks pretty simple, your hair dryer will actually require more power from the extension cord, because of the distance increase, and now you're running about 4x the current, which equals 13.6 amps.

At a certain point, the amperage drop will decrease exponentially, which means now the motor will be running significantly slower, which will cause the electrical shorts to be slower, which will generate heat in the cord. And at this point, either the cord will melt (or get extremely hot), or you'll blow a circuit breaker.

Moral of the story, just live with your hair dryer have a short cord, and stay safe.

Can i use an extension cord with a bonnet hair dryer?

You can use an extension cord. You just have to make sure the cord will handle the load of your hair dryer. A lot of extension cords are only capable of handling a couple of small lamps or things like that. Look in the electrical department of a hardware store or building supply. Read the current they are rated from the packaging it is in and make sure it will handle the load. If you're not sure ask one of the sales people.

Infiniti by Conair Hair Designer Hair Dryer does it really work? has anyone bought it is it worth bu

i want to buy a new blow dryer, with a brush attched like this one... but im not sure which would be the best http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.d...

Infiniti by Conair Hair Designer Hair Dryer does it really work? has anyone bought it is it worth buying?

yeas even easy care too

Infiniti by Conair Hair Designer Hair Dryer does it really work? has anyone bought it is it worth buying?

Actually, I didn't see any difference. It seems that all of them are the same, but the volume you get doesn't change with the dryer. It died on me after about 6-7 months, and I just bought your standard dryer with a "pick" attachment. Works just fine. To me, it's not worth the money.

Dust under psp screen can i use a hair dryer?

What high quality PROFESSIONAL HAIR DRYER is the absolute BEST?

price does NOT matter to me

i blowdry my hair as well as clients hair EVERYDAY and was just wondering what in your opinion is the best blowdryer, and wont COMPLETELY fry my hair

What high quality PROFESSIONAL HAIR DRYER is the absolute BEST?

THE SEDU ULTRAPOWER TOURMALINE HAIR DRYER! you can buy it at folica.com, or amazon.com. it is amazing, it dries my hair in 5 minutes and leaves it shiny and perfect. absolutely the best.

What high quality PROFESSIONAL HAIR DRYER is the absolute BEST?

conair works really good. the also come in some fabulous colors too =]

hope this helps!

good luck!

What high quality PROFESSIONAL HAIR DRYER is the absolute BEST?

CHI no doubt-its the best stuff ever! Prepare to spend a little money though!

What high quality PROFESSIONAL HAIR DRYER is the absolute BEST?

i already answered this question 4 u

but i can always answer it again

the chi blowdryer is really good because it will blowdry your really fast and u dont want the person 2 be bored just waitng there

and it wont fry your hair trust me and u should still put heat protecters on their hair

What high quality PROFESSIONAL HAIR DRYER is the absolute BEST?

Dose this Conair hair dryer work?

http://www.conair.com/infiniti-hair-desi... It is supposed to strigetn hair and all? Dose anyone own one or know anything about it? Thanks!

Dose this Conair hair dryer work?

i have it!! yes it does it works extremely well

Dose this Conair hair dryer work?

yea it does work!! its the same thing as straightening ur hair but just a little worse. because it dries ur hair more. so dont use it evryday..

Dose this Conair hair dryer work?

well, i have just bought this. and to tell you the truth, it doesn't really work that well on my hair . if you read alot of the reviews on this product, they might say that it's awesome, but it really depends on what you think is "straight" and "easy to use"

SHOULD I BUY THE T3 HAIR DRYER OR THE CHI HAIR DRYER????

THE BLOWDRYER NOT THE STRAIGHTENER

ALSO i need a blowdryer that will not damage my hair becuase i blowdry and straighten it with my chi flatiron EVERYDAY.

SHOULD I BUY THE T3 HAIR DRYER OR THE CHI HAIR DRYER????

The Chi is directed towards ethnic hair. It is extremely powerful and can be used regularly. Typically it helps with straightening the hair out so people with course or curly hair will find it a good fit if they are looking to wear their hair straight or have it straightened.

I am not sure your hair length, but blow drying my hair daily at shoulder length would damage it severly. I usually wear it in a pony tail right out of the shower and sleep on it overnight then I only have to dry it for about 5 or 10 minutes.

Have fun.

SHOULD I BUY THE T3 HAIR DRYER OR THE CHI HAIR DRYER????

i personally like Chi

SHOULD I BUY THE T3 HAIR DRYER OR THE CHI HAIR DRYER????

Buy the T3 dryer.

Your hair is going to end up damaged no matter WHAT tools you use if you heat style it EVERY DAY!! Give it a rest!

Curling Hair Dryer things?

like you blow dry your hair and it turns out curly?

Do you know anything about it?

thanks~

Curling Hair Dryer things?

they have a blow dryer that is like a curling brush I used to have one but don't remember what brand it was. It worked pretty good

Curling Hair Dryer things?

It's called a diffuser. You can usually buy one that will attach to most blow dryers. You should be able to find one at either a Sally's Beauty Supply or even a Wal-Mart for $10-20. It doesn't just turn out curly, though. There is some styling involved also.

Curling Hair Dryer things?

A diffuser only works on naturally curly hair.

Which hair dryer is best?

I always see that salon hair blowers have this tip attached to the head. What does that tip do? Also, how do you know what to look for when purchasing one? Wattage? Ionic? Etc...

Thanks in advance!

Which hair dryer is best?

the tips are difusers. i like them. Diffusers are really great for keeping the frizz out of your hair, especially if you have a perm or naturally curly or frizzy hair. It diffuses the heat of the blow dryer evenly instead of allowing the heat to focus on one section (thereby drying it too quickly and frizzing it out). as for the other questions idk

Which hair dryer is best?

It directs the heat directly onto the hair shaft making it easier to dry it in one direction and so avoiding split ends and fluffy hair! I recently had this dilemma when looking for a new hair drier and plumped for an ionic one by Babylis, it's the best one I've had and the ions protect the hair so leave it nice and smoothe. Hope this helps and happy hair-do's!!!

Which hair dryer is best?

that attachment they have on it is used to controll the direction of the air..

and i always get an ionic hair dryer, they work really well and they are very durable

:)bae

Which hair dryer is best?

Just go to any store .

Chose a hair dryer that is priced a bit higher.

Conair, Phillips.. all good.

Check with the return policy.

Try out at home. And change if it is working.

Just check heat.

Which hair dryer is best?

1600 is the average wattage of a pro hair dryer. We use the chi dryers at my salon but they are very expensive. I would recommend a dryer that has a couple of different attatchments and is ionic. Just don't go for the cheapest one. Most have a limited warantee. Chi brands are lifetime.

Which PROFESSIONAL HAIR DRYER is the best?

price does NOT matter to me.

i blowdry my hair everyday and need high quality.my appearance is VERY important to me seeing as how i am working towards commercial modeling.

which one of these blowdryers are better and hopefully wont completely fry my hair.

1)http://www.folica.com/Sedu_Ultrapower_d2...

2)http://www.folica.com/CHI_Ceramic_Ion_d1...

Which PROFESSIONAL HAIR DRYER is the best?

I'm a hairstylist and I use CHI products...blowdryers, irons, and hair products. They have a full line.

Hope this helps.

Which PROFESSIONAL HAIR DRYER is the best?

Well I know that you aren't meant to get a hairdryer with a wattage over 1800...these will fry your hair! So considering that, and that the CHI is ionic, personally I would go for the CHI.

Is there a hair dryer that can hook up to my lighter in the car?

i hate showing up at work with wet hair but it takes an hr to dry my hair and id rather spend that hour driving to work

can i dry my hair at the same time??

Is there a hair dryer that can hook up to my lighter in the car?

This is just about the stupidest thing I've heard right up there with this guy I saw doing a crossword while driving. You'd rather risk getting into a car accident then hmm I don't know waking up earlier? Seriously if you care about the way you look so much you'd sacrifice a few extra minutes of sleep.

Is there a hair dryer that can hook up to my lighter in the car?

You must really be pressed for time! You should get a lighter plug converter they are like 10 bucks, then you can plug anything in there, curling irons phone chargers toaster, basically living out of your car!!!

Is there a hair dryer that can hook up to my lighter in the car?

Ha! I wish there was something like that! but even if there was, it would use up SO much of your car's battery. wake up a little bit earlier and partially dry it...it's better than completely wet!

Is there a hair dryer that can hook up to my lighter in the car?

You will get a ticket if you dry and drive at the same time, not to mention a car accident!!! just wake up an hour earlier and dry your hair!

Is there a hair dryer that can hook up to my lighter in the car?

no.

you could put the heaters on full and high so they could blow you hair while you are driving.

hoped that helpedxx

Is there a hair dryer that can hook up to my lighter in the car?

Not sure. One time I tried to plug my hair dryer up to this adapter thing that worked for a hair dryer outlet. I plugged it up in my car and turned it on. It definitely messed the lighter up and has never worked again.

Is there a hair dryer that can hook up to my lighter in the car?

You should never try to dry your hair, put on makeup, or talk on the phone while driving. Not only do you pay attention to the road way less, but it pisses us other drivers who ARE paying attention off... you supposed "multitaskers" slow down at least 10 miles per hour than normal, and you don't look at your blind spots at all when you're changing lanes. Just wake up earlier!

Is there a hair dryer that can hook up to my lighter in the car?

Most hair dryers will take too much power to run even if you have one of those converter plugs.

Is there a hair dryer that can hook up to my lighter in the car?

from i read Rachel K. sounds like she knows what she's talking about- it would have been my suggestion that -after researching it on the web -there must be some thing that out there- get in touch with a manufacture, any manufacture, and they could point you in the right direction

Where can I find a battery powered hair dryer?

I will be going camping in one month and there will be no source of outlets. I need to know where I can obtain a battery powered hair dryer.

Where can I find a battery powered hair dryer?

you cant buy a battery powered hair dryer, because it would not have enought power to do anything.

Where can I find a battery powered hair dryer?

Hopefully, the sun will be shining and you can go with a wash and go natural style.

Where can I find a battery powered hair dryer?

You can't. Hair dryers require far more power than any conceivable battery pack could provide.

Which hair dryer to purchase?

Which hair dryer to purchase?

why you so self concious ab ur hair

long? dyed? blow dryers?

ur a guy

shouldnt have to worry ab these things

Which hair dryer to purchase?

Well, it really depends. You might want to get one with a brush and comb extension because those dry your hair quickly and also allow you to comb out any tangles and smooth your hair out. Also, there are a few that are more energy efficient than others.

Shop around, go to a beauty supply and check out their best dryers and then go back to a regular store and find something as similar as the beauty supply for less.

Where can i get a good dog hair dryer.?

I need a good hair dryer for my 4 dogs as it takes me ages to dry them with mine, can anyone tell me where i can get a hands free one that i can put on my grooming table and one that does not cost the earth.

Where can i get a good dog hair dryer.?

I just got a new one from hub international, they do sell the same one on ebay but not much cheaper. It is called the Metro Air force quick draw, around 鎷?0 excl. vat. I have three rough collies, and for 20 years I have struggled with my own hairdryer, and it took me literally hours to dry each dog. I am not exaggerating by saying it took literally 10 minutes to completely dry one dog after a bath, and she looked stunning afterwards, her coat taking on a different texture to when I have bathed her before. It works by actually forcing the water away from your dog, without the need for hot air which damages the coat, and there was a fine mist of water in the air around the dog as I dried her You can attach the dryer to a hook (which is supplied) underneath your grooming table, a wall etc, leave it free standing on the grooming table, or have the loop around your neck and wear like a handbag. There is a long hose with a couple of different attachments. Worth every penny, wish I had bought one years ago!

How do you straighten your hair without using a straightner or hair dryer? Is it possible?

My mom won't let me buy a straightner or hair dryer!

How do you straighten your hair without using a straightner or hair dryer? Is it possible?

You can get it permanently straightened, or buy straightening products at the store. Depending on your hair type, after you get out of the shower, just keeping running your fingers through your hair until it's dried, it helps straighten it a little. I have a hair straightener myself. If your mom is concerned about you damaging your hair, propose to her about getting a protecting spray for your hair to protect it from heat damage. It'll work for both straighteners and hair driers. I use it and it works great! Good luck.

How do you straighten your hair without using a straightner or hair dryer? Is it possible?

Make like the old days and use an Iron.

How do you straighten your hair without using a straightner or hair dryer? Is it possible?

you can always go oldschool and use a wet towel and iron...you're gonna need help though.

How do you straighten your hair without using a straightner or hair dryer? Is it possible?

My girlfriend uses this straightner stuff she gets at the store. Not sure what its called but there is stuff out there for it.

How do you straighten your hair without using a straightner or hair dryer? Is it possible?

Brushing your hair after a bath and then just letting it air dry would help at least other than that I would just beg your mom some more or give up.

-sorry

How do you straighten your hair without using a straightner or hair dryer? Is it possible?

Well, after you get out of the shower keep combing your hair until is is only a little damp. Then go through it occasionally until dry. It will be pretty straight.

How do you straighten your hair without using a straightner or hair dryer? Is it possible?

wet your hair with hot water then put a clean towel to dry it then use an iron!

How do you straighten your hair without using a straightner or hair dryer? Is it possible?

ask if you can get your hair chemically straightened...either a reverse perm or a process called yuko hair straightening.... it makes your hair soft, beautiful and perfectly straight... but its expensive

How do you straighten your hair without using a straightner or hair dryer? Is it possible?

You can straighten your hair with water like go in two the bathroom and put some water in your handes and then put it on you hair but do noy dry it off or that would make it bad again

sighen,

Michael/Michae08l

How do you straighten your hair without using a straightner or hair dryer? Is it possible?

Dry it naturally while gently combing with a big paddle brush and then when your mum isn't looking use your iron to straighten your hair but watch you don't burn yourself.

How do you straighten your hair without using a straightner or hair dryer? Is it possible?

Well, you can get your hair permanently straightened and risk having it all fall out. You can also use damaging chemicals to make your hair straight. If you don't have access to a straightener or a blow dryer I suggest you wear your hair naturally. Visit the site below about managing wavy/curly hair! Also, if you have straight hair you could be brushing/de-moisturizing the waves out. In about 2-3 weeks you could have gorgeous, natural wavy hair! Straighten your hair- be happy for a day, learn to wear your hair naturally- be happy for life!

How do you straighten your hair without using a straightner or hair dryer? Is it possible?

Sorry for you because my mom bought me a straightener and a hair dryer. I'm doing my hair right now to go to a party. An order t make your straighter you need what my mom bought.

How do you straighten your hair without using a straightner or hair dryer? Is it possible?

Depends how long your hair is and how curly it is. But you can wrap it around your head using bobby pins. Imagine your head as huge hair roller and just wrap your hair around it. Your hairline being one side of the roller and the center of your head the other side. Your hair should be slightly damp. First part your hair on the side and start combing it making sure it's tight and securing your hair with bobby pins as you go around. You should be placing pins from the center of your head inwards and pins from your hairline inwards. Depending on your hair length some parts may over lap hair you already secured, it doesn't matter just add more pins. When your hair it totally dried on one side you can wrap again on the other side. It takes some practice, but it works, Good Luck!

What is a good brand of hair dryer?

Im in need a new hair dryer and wanted to find out what is the best one i can get for around $100.00 with a diffuser?

What is a good brand of hair dryer?

Try using *BED HEAD* the ionic blow dryer.

I do not recommend you getting a regular blow dryer because a regular blow dryer doesn't keep the moisture in your hair from the shampoo and conditioner and a ionic blow dryer keeps the moisture in your hair as well as it drys it faster. Its a bit pricie but i'm pretty sure you'll have some left over for both things. When you get products for your hair make sure it says ionic.

I hope this helps you

Is it safe to use a hair dryer during a thunderstorm?

I have heard that it isn't safe to take a shower, talk on a land line phone, or use a hair dryer during a thunderstorm. I want to know if other people have ever heard this??

Is it safe to use a hair dryer during a thunderstorm?

I don't know personally, but to be safe I wouldn't do anything electric during a thunderstorm. I'd wait until it subsided so I could do it. I don't think it would really hurt you if it was a little bit of thunder and lightning, but if it was heavy thunder and lightning, it would be extremely dangerous.

The shower, I usually do. But I make it quick. Nothing's happened to me in the shower while a storm has happened.

Is it safe to use a hair dryer during a thunderstorm?

I have never hearf of that cuz i do all of that all the time thunder is just noise... lighting however is something that could hurt u....

XOXOXOXO

Is it safe to use a hair dryer during a thunderstorm?

Is it safe to use a hair dryer during a thunderstorm?

i've heard of that, but i still go on the computer, use phones, etc. during thunderstorms and nothing has ever happened to me and i've never heard of it happening to anyone else so it's not that bad...if it's a really big thunderstorm then yeah. =)

Is it safe to use a hair dryer during a thunderstorm?

no way it is so dangerous........

What's the name of that hair dryer that is like an enclosed brush?

It is kind of like this flat iron, besides it's a hair dryer. I saw a commercial for it awhile ago.

http://img.shopping.com/cctool/PrdImg/im...

What's the name of that hair dryer that is like an enclosed brush?

Hi ive got one of these, its not a hair dryer and its called a straightening brush, you just use it instead of a hair brush when you dry your hair, and the heat gets on to the metal plates and straightens the hair. Very tricky to us In my opinion.

I know you can get one of those heat stylers like a hair dryer with different attachments and one of these is an attachment to fit on to it, so you wouldnt need to use a hairdryer as well as straightening brush.

I think all makes make them now a days, I know argos have them.

Or you can just purchase the brush on its own, in somewhere like sallys. I got mine from savers a bargain at 1.99 and once you get use to them they do work but pull like mad.

Do you use hair gel before or after dryer? Which is a good mens hair gel?

hair gel dryer men health

Do you use hair gel before or after dryer? Which is a good mens hair gel?

It's best to apply hair gel before you blow dry. I would suggest using dep hair gel, it really works.

Do you use hair gel before or after dryer? Which is a good mens hair gel?

Before... it won't work if you use it after... its best to use it then let hair dry natural.

Do you use hair gel before or after dryer? Which is a good mens hair gel?

Usually, after, but some hair gels are made to be put on BEFORE you dry, like sexyhairconcepts' blow dry volumizing gel. A great men's hair gel at an affordable price is L'Oreal StudioLine MegaGel in Extreme Hold. It's available at most drugstores nationwide.

Do you use hair gel before or after dryer? Which is a good mens hair gel?

Can I bring a hair dryer and curling iron in a carry on bag on Southwest Airlines flight?

I am flying Southwest Airlines next weekend and can't find any information about hair dryers or curling irons on their website. Does anyone know if these are allowed? I'm not checking any bags.

Can I bring a hair dryer and curling iron in a carry on bag on Southwest Airlines flight?

Yes, you can carry both items on any airline in the US and on most every foreign airline. In fact, they have never been banned, even since 9/11. As someone who will not travel anywhere without her dryer and flat iron, I will warn you that these sorts of products oftentimes do not show up clearly on the X-ray machine screens. Consequently, they will often be flagged for a security check (just to make sure that dryer isn't a large gun or the curling iron a metal night-stick).

You can avoid this possible disruption to your security experience by putting the items on top of everything else within your bag (so that, when the bag is flat on the belt, they are closest to the X-ray camera above, blocked only by the suitcase's fabric, and therefore most visible).

Have fun on your trip!

Can I bring a hair dryer and curling iron in a carry on bag on Southwest Airlines flight?

Someone better answer this question because I need to know also ... I'm traveling this week!!!!!!

Can I bring a hair dryer and curling iron in a carry on bag on Southwest Airlines flight?

of course you can. they are not sharp objects. also if you have doubts, try checking the southwest website.

Can I bring a hair dryer and curling iron in a carry on bag on Southwest Airlines flight?

Can't find anything anywhere that specifies this..better CALL them.

Can I bring a hair dryer and curling iron in a carry on bag on Southwest Airlines flight?

Yeah I think you can, Its not sharp and you could do almost the same damage to someone with a hard back book

What is the cool shot button on a hair dryer for?

Can I dry my hair holding down that button the whole time?

Will this dry my hair faster?

Will it ruin my hair dryer?

What is the cool shot button on a hair dryer for?

You can dry your hair with that button but it will take longer.

What is the cool shot button on a hair dryer for?

it is to coool down the hot air, short stack

What is the cool shot button on a hair dryer for?

THE COOL BUTTON IS SO YOU DON'T OVERDRY YOUR HAIR.......USUALLY YOU USE THE HEAT WHEN YOU FIRST START DRYING YOUR HAIR AND THE MORE YOUR HAIR HAS DRIED; YOU TEND TO USE LESS HEAT; TOO MUCH HEAT TO YOUR HAIR ; CAN DAMAGE IT ; DRY IT OUT AND MAKE IT VERY BRITTLE AND IF TOO BRITTLE AND DRY ; MAKE LOTS OF SPLIT ENDS

What is the cool shot button on a hair dryer for?

From what a stylist once told me, cooling your hair down after you've been drying/styling it with heat helps seal the hair follicles. It's supposed to help reduce heat damage to your hair (i.e. split ends) and its also supposed to help set your style.

What is the cool shot button on a hair dryer for?

The cool shot button is used to reseal the cuticle layer of your hair, after the intensity of the heat when using the blow dryer, it also helps to seal the product into your hair and make your hair more productive.

Licensed Cosmetologist

What is the cool shot button on a hair dryer for?

if u ever notice when u r drying your hair and u actually feel your head burning u can turn it on that setting to cool that particular part down

What is the cool shot button on a hair dryer for?

it wont ruin your dryer. a trick i learned was if you dry your hair with the hot air till its almost dry and then finish drying on the cold setting then it will be super shiny

What is the cool shot button on a hair dryer for?

yes but it will take a long timme to dry

No

No

only use cool shot after you have dried your hair to seal the cuticle

What is the cool shot button on a hair dryer for?

Hmm, i have that button too. I have heard from numorous people that it's usually used when people curl their hair. After they put their hair in curlers and take it out, I guess some people blow dry them with the cool button held down. But that is what I have heard. I like to use it after my hair is dry, then i go over it with the cool shot.

What is the cool shot button on a hair dryer for?

hair is kind of like plastic. while it's still warm it can be put into a curl. if the curl cools quickly it will retain its shape longer and stronger than if it cools slowly.

it is to cool the hair quickly to retain curl. or lack of curl. - to retain its SHAPE.

it makes flat ironing easier if the hair is straightened with a blow dryer then shot with the cool button.

What is the cool shot button on a hair dryer for?

If your hair is fair and you want to add body to it, this is what the button is for. Dry your hair with the hot button then add body by going over it with cold.

Bio Ionic Hair Dryer?

Is this type better for your hair than other hair dryers and why? I know they are all damaging. I just want to know which type is the LEAST damaging of the lot.

Bio Ionic Hair Dryer?

Yeah, i just got one like two weeks ago and what it does is dry your hair but doesn't take out the moisture out of your hari, instead it locks it in to your hair so it doesn't damage. It dries pretty well. I like it!

Bio Ionic Hair Dryer?

Tourmaline is pretty good. You should try the Revlon or Helen of Troy kind, which is not only inexpensive, but it also does a great job.

Bio Ionic Hair Dryer?

yup thats a cool hair dyer....it closes off the cuticles somehow so that your ends dont get trashed

Bio Ionic Hair Dryer?

I LUV LUV IT!!!!!!!!!!! Its pretty amazing. It cuts your blow drying time in half! and it somehow leave sit soft and your ends dont look all dead!

Bio Ionic Hair Dryer?

I have a Conair Ceramic Ionic blow dryer. You can see it here: http://www.conair-store.com/product_deta... It works really well. The ionic ones help to reduce damage and frizz. It also gives your hair a soft feel and a shiny look. (Tip: If you use the cool shot button on a hair dryer when your done drying it, it adds shine.)

Hair dryer sales statistics?

What are the statistics of hair dryers sold each year around the world? Or even just in the U.S?

Hair dryer sales statistics?

I can't think of it right now, but search for statistics on Yahoo, and you will come up with a site that has statistics for all kinds of odd things. Type in hair dryers and maybe you will get something. It's a long shot, but definitly worth a try. Hope this helps!

Hair dryer that spins, everyone. PLZ DO HELP?

Among the various hair dryers, there's the one that has built in bristle which you spin manually in your hair locks.

Another which I'm dying for is that SPINS ALONE.

My hair is smooth %26amp; almost sleek, so I don't need the straighteners. But I found the irons can curl too %26amp; I'm looking for waves %26amp; a little more straightening though, not curls.

I need to know whether the one that spins alone with bristle is efficient %26amp; whether hair iron is better, as I prefer the one with bristle.

I'M LOST!

How to curl your hair with a brush and a hair dryer?

how do you curl your hair and give it pretty curls with just a brush and a hair dryer?

How to curl your hair with a brush and a hair dryer?

mmmmm.......well get the brush and roll around a piece of hair and put the blow dryer on your hair?

???????

How to curl your hair with a brush and a hair dryer?

A round barrel brush is best,

you get a section of your hair and turn the hairdryer to high heat and put the dryer 1-2 inches away from the hair in the brush. Note: this won't get you big bouncy curls like curling with an iron will, just suddle waves.

How to curl your hair with a brush and a hair dryer?

you will need a round brush.

first all start off with wet hair and if you have a curl product, put it in. then curl sections of the hair one at a time with the brush and hold the dryer until your hair is dry. flip your hair upside down for extra poof.

How to curl your hair with a brush and a hair dryer?

use a small round brush and do your hair in 1" sections all over holding hairdryer about 2" away from each rolled up section on the brush, however if you are going to do this you would be best to use rollers as you will obtain better results

What is the best kind of hair dryer?

My hair takes forever to dry and gets fried very easily. What kind of hair dryer should I get to solve my problems? The one I have is about five years old, so I obviously need a new one and wanted some input!

What is the best kind of hair dryer?

conair makes a good rapid dry one... they sell it at most stores.

as for the getting fried part, try Tresse hair lotion (about 10 dollars in salons) it protects hair from heat.

What is the best kind of hair dryer?

any dryer with adjustable settings. the one i have is revlon and it has 3 heat settings/ 3 air flow settings and a "style/ dry" switch in the back. Try this stuff by Paul Mitchell- its a creme you put on when the hair is wet and it REALLY cuts the drying time down significantly. Cant recall the name, but ask and the person at any salan should be able to tell you.

What is the best kind of hair dryer?

natural air dry is best, or hold it up in a towel for awhile, then let dry natural, if ya need to use hairdryer to style it, use the coolest setting ya can get away with or you're just asking for fried split-end hair....also try getting cholesterol treatments if fried already...trust me...dated a hairstylist...back then had long hair and it was perfect, once we split up I cut it short again cuz I lost my maintenance technician ;)

What is the best kind of hair dryer?

conair, gives you a quick dry that lets your hair flow. and its totally easy to handle.

What is the best kind of hair dryer?

Get one with ceramic or tourmaline. Both cut down on drying time and help keep your hair smooth. I recently threw out my old dryer (about as old as yours) and got a Revlon dryer with tourmaline. I can really tell the difference--my hair is much smoother and it doesn't take as long to dry.

Does using the cool setting on a hair dryer still damage your hair?

I've heard that using a hair dryer often can damage your hair a lot. I am wondering if it has the same affect if you use the cool setting. Thanks!

Does using the cool setting on a hair dryer still damage your hair?

The cool setting on the blower will do very little damage to your hair. You should know that what it does is close the outer layer of your hair, sealing in the moisture that is in there. When your hair is dry enough to be ready to finish, using the cool setting will help "set" the style. If you use it from the beginning you will spend a very long time drying your hair. Use a good product line on your hair, my favorite is Nexus, and blow dry with heat to start, and use the cool setting for the last five minutes, for the best results.

Does using the cool setting on a hair dryer still damage your hair?

Actually no, the only setting that damages hair is heat. Cool settings is like having it air dry. Blowdriers fry your hair, and straighteners bake your hair. Get a really good conditioner!!!

Does using the cool setting on a hair dryer still damage your hair?

kind of but not as much because EVERYTHING damages ur hair wind, heat, cold, brush, comb, gel,u name it everything but a small or good amount can do wonders

Does using the cool setting on a hair dryer still damage your hair?

nope, the cool air closes the hair cuticle, which make it look shinier

Does using the cool setting on a hair dryer still damage your hair?

It could still damage your hair because even if it is on the cool setting, it still has some trace of heat in it. If you use a heat protectant spray or gel, it won't damage your hair, but always make sure you point the hair dryer down. It helps to smooth the hair folicle.

Does using the cool setting on a hair dryer still damage your hair?

Using a lot of heat on your hair is damaging to your hair and also drying. The cool setting isn't as much damaging. But if you blowdry your hair a lot and if you use a lot of heat on your hair what you can do is put a heat protector on your hair before blowdrying. Redken has one called Heat Glide and it also makes your hair smooth and shiny and protects your hair from the heat.
