they have a blow dryer that is like a curling brush I used to have one but don't remember what brand it was. It worked pretty good

It's called a diffuser. You can usually buy one that will attach to most blow dryers. You should be able to find one at either a Sally's Beauty Supply or even a Wal-Mart for $10-20. It doesn't just turn out curly, though. There is some styling involved also.
