If I curled my hair with curlers, could I dry then with a hair dryer to make them set?

I know its better to sleep with them in but is it possible to dry them with dryer, or not.

i work in retail and in hairdressing.

usually to set your hair you neeD to :

*wash towel dry the hair..

*apply a setting lotion e.g Matther James Quickset. (or else the curls will drop out within a few hours)

*either sleep on the rollers, apply heat under a wall dryer or gentle hot hairdryer. (any will work just the same.

*when completely dry (and i mean totally dry unless it will set floppy with no curl) unwind them gently, applying a shine or smoothing serum, e.g PPS's Shine it.

*OPTIONAL: apply hairspray for the fly aways, and to hold the curl for longer :)

i think if you used a hair dryer it would make is go frizzy try using mouse before you curl.

yes definitely..... use a roller and use dryer and show it in the roller wid ur hair for few seconds and ur curls wil set...... or u can use even roller comb to curl ur hair n tehn set it wid dryer

Yes, I do that, but I find that the curls don't hold as well.
